I've not been writing lately due to my laziness. Today, I decided to write something before the year comes to an end in few more days. I have now attached or rather stepped my foot into the working world. It's not easy as last time due to competency and also professionalism required in my field. I was trying so hard to get a job from the field that I wanted. Here and there and no one accept me due to my results and competency. Finally I got a place in Bangsar and I'm now working as an auditor. Not so much with the position, merely an audit associate or junior in a charted accounting firm. I'm here to learn and gain as much experience as I can at this point in time. Maybe 3 years later I shall move on. I started not long ago and now I start to complain here and there. My field is BORING! I guess the rest who are in their own career also face the same thing with me because everyday do the same thing which as known as routine work. Seriously in future if I would be a father to my children, I will teach them to be contented of what they have and how much we parents work just to support the family. It's not easy to be in working life. Strength and motivation needed most of the time to sustain my mentality to carry on. Audit is a good foundation where all accounting students should lay for the first few years to gain experience. However, to build a good foundation is not easy as most people think. I'm trying my best to build the foundation so that my future road will be easy to walk. I'm not saying the road will be smooth all the way; however, with the spirit of perseverance and faith with God, everything will be possible. Whether or not I like the job is depends on how I think and look at it. I would like to conclude that life is not all about working, future and fun but ultimately, God is the source where everyone should call upon to sustain their life to gain much joy in their life and also a LIFE.

PART ll Fundamental Liberties (Federal Constitution)

Often people forget their power and rights as a citizen in the country. They even may and may not educated (told) what rights do they have as a citizen in the country they living in. I'm writing this hopping citizens in this country aware of their rights. Reading from Part 2 Fundamental Liberties from Federal Constitution, Article 8 - Equality:
(1) All persons are equal before the law and entitled to the equal protection of the law.
(2) Except as expressly authorised by this Constitution, there shall be no discrimination against citizens on the ground only of religion, race, descent, place of birth or gender in any law or in the appointment to any office or employment under a public authority or in the administration of any law relating to the acquisition, holding or disposition of property or the establishing or carrying on of any trade, business, profession, vocation or employment.
(3) There shall be no discrimination in favour of any person on the ground that he is subject of the Ruler of any State.
(4) No public authority shall discriminate against any person on the ground that he is resident or carrying on business in any part of the Federal outside the jurisdiction of the authority.

The above writing is directly extract from the Federal Constitution, the Supreme Law in the country.

Language Barrier

I'm not a person who can speak good English. English is an international language where everyone can communicate with each other instead of speaking own dialects or country's official language. In today's competitive world, command in English is essential for everyone to communicate with same language. I've went to an interview recently for my job search, interviewer told me you have good command in English which is an advantage to me because the people that he interviewed, none of them can speak English well. I just wondering why do they still get the job or getting hired? Another instance that I want to share where the course that I'm attending right now. Presentation, presentation, presentation and presentation. Everyday presentation. From here, I realised presenters can't speak well in English and I just wonder whether they can even get a job in this competitive environment nowadays.Yes, knowledge and skills is one advantage but the language which is an essential methods to communicate to people is weak. Therefore, I took an opportunity to speak out after my presentation to motivate them not to give up on English and also their presentation skills. Of all the presentations that I've presented, comment by the trainers "good", "awesome" etc. So why am I still haven't got a job till today? This is weird isn't? I have even broaden my options to smaller firms. Still no firms want to hire me. Why is this so? I am willing to learn from bottom though I may not be competent and productive for the first few months. This doesn't mean I won't perform in the future. The key is 'willing to learn' where all firms are looking for. Yes I am willing to learn. Now my question back to the employer, "are you willing to teach and give me an opportunity to join the force?" What I need at this point in time is just a chance from the firms. If you giving me a chance, I am sure to say that I will commit and perform quickly within my abilities and my strengths.

Taxation

Today at this time, I decided to write an article/post/argument/opinion or whatever you want to call it. It's up to you to call whatever it should be called whether article or what at the end of my post. Well I've four years knowledge of taxation from my studies. During the course of my undergraduate studies, I am well trained and taught in taxation skills. I'm not perfect after all because we human will never finish in learning things. I've decided to write this because I have my own stand of my understanding specially in my field. Often people out there say "things you learned from college/university are different from reality" well this statement not fully denied as there are principles behind in all situations. Whether or not putting it into practice is up to the responsible authorities to be accountable.

In life 2 things we definitely cannot escape. First is death. Second is taxes. Today's topic I'm not gonna talk about life or death but the second point taxation. Taxation is attributes of DIRECT and INDIRECT taxes. Both taxes are the source of revenue for the local government, state government and federal government. Quit rent and assessment will be put aside as these are not what I want to emphasize today. Now, direct taxes that we often see is income tax which is taxed by the Inland Revenue Board from the income of each individual derived. Whether it is from your salary, sales of property/land (RPGT), rights and patents, company profits, as long as an individual derived a certain amount of income, he/she/it will be taxed by the IRB according to its rate and public ruling. In short, we are being taxed from our income that we derived.

On the other hand, indirect taxes such as excise duties, stamp duties, custom duties, service taxes so on and so forth that are governed by the Royal Custom Malaysia. In layman term, duty of royal custom is to enforce law of goods that are being shipped in/out in the country and charge them duties according to its rates. Well it's true and their duty also is to ensure there is no goods being smuggler in without any permits. However, Royal Custom is an appointed agency to collect duties and taxes from goods and services that are acquired, obtained, purchased, used by the public/rakyat. In short, we are being taxed from what we spent whether a need or want.

Both Inland Revenue and Royal Custom has the same function which is collecting taxes from rakyat. The difference is only income and expenses. All in all, we as public/rakyat are being taxed from the income we derived and goods and services that we spent/enjoy. However, income taxpayers often say or maybe showing off that they are paying tax not you "YOUNGSTERS" or those who are not working. I would like to beg to differ and would like to testify and tell the WORLD that we or those who are not working are still taxpayers. Whether or not your are employee or consumer, you are being taxed! Therefore, do not proclaim that the only employed are being taxed.

Often public/rakyat ask, where the money that were taxed from us go to? Different people have different saying to the answer. Ultimately, those money being taxed will go to the budget and those money will be spent on the facilities for the public use, feeding the govt services provided, so on and so on. Which is TRUE! Inland Revenue and Royal Custom are the acting agents to the Ministry of Finance to collect those money for country's budget. On how they going to spend it, it's their wisdom on how to give back to the public. Again, I am not going to emphasize on how they going give back to the public. However, I want to emphasize that WE public/rakyat cannot escape from tax! and all of us are TAXPAYERS.

Sometimes, there will be incentives given to the public such as the recent program bantuan rakyat 1M where RM500 be given to all rakyat who needs it, graduate career accelerated program with an allowance of RM800 will be given to the participants and many more. Be my guest to take it and spend for your needs. Feel obliged to take it as those money are your money and you deserve to take it back. Many have the political mindset says you will be the opportunist and you are being marked and so on. Whether or not to vote for any party to be the government has nothing got to do with these. Take the money and go as this is a budget plan. If there are any extra, you will never know where the money will go to at the end of the day. To those who said not to take it and so on, here I am to tell you that you are giving a leeway for frauds, corruption, and so on. I am not pin pointing anyone or any party or whoever, but in terms of controls we must take charge and be responsible to ensure no hanky panky behind us. If you complain here and there without any action, then I advice you not to waste your saliva and talk so much because with your complaints without action and just for saying, it will never help any better to you or to the country or even to the rakyat.

Above all, I would wish to see all public/rakyat to wake up and open their eyes and be alert in all things are happening around us today. Whether politics, finance, racial, religious, we should be unite together and hope for a better future for our next generations. Do not lose hope and discouraged, we still have hope!

CHANGE

things surround me start to change gradually or I define it as bit by bit as I observed thus far. As I think about it, I don't want the current things change to better/worse. I just don't want to see. The feeling is like you gonna lose something. Changes can be positive and negative as for better or for worse. Either both of them I don't really want to change because I still want to be in current situation or position. I can say I'm tired and lazy for the transition period. It hurts and causes tear. Sick of changing. Can anyone tell me how? Things that I refer e.g country/politics,friendship,relationship,growth,career and a lot more. Seriously feel like giving up sometimes. Maybe I'm in this idle period, think too much unnecessary things. Perseverance and patience are the key to make me see things better and will bring me further to fit me in the transition period.

Penang trip

Travel to Penang is not a joke. 4hours plus of journey from Shah Alam and imagine the jam that you might stuck at Gopeng onwards. And this is very much depend on your luck or timing. It's tiring! Well I traveled to Penang for the first time with my new car few weeks back just to fetch my mom back. Planned to stay for few days but I went only 2days 1 night. If you plan to go to Penang do stay a little longer "like duh". Food there are just awesome where you will never get it in KL.

Stayed at 5th aunt's place University Heights. ----> opposite is the University Sains Malaysia. View there is not bad. This mini trip didn't go well as I suppose to meet my friend for some DIM SUM in the morning. Guess what? Heavy rain in the middle of night and road leads to town was so jam cause P.Ramlee off Sungai Perak flooded. 9.30 appointment 11am reach town. I just say hi and bye to my friend. This is damn sad. Thought will have a wonderful catch up time together and jalan jalan and this turned to disaster.

SWAROVSKI ZIRCONIA

Men have an instinctive desire to protect what is closest to them, such as family, jewels, and family jewels. I would say men should have an instinctive desire to protect their wives; to be able to provide love, care, to be faithful and up hold the marriage vow "to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part.“ All in all, men should provide not only to their wives but to the family as a whole because both husband and wife has the role to play as family formed.

Finally! Graduated as Bachelor of Arts major in Accounting and Finance with SECOND CLASS (lower) from University of Greenwich 2+0 in SEGi University. Remember I posted my diploma achievement few years back and today I post my degree achievement. Again my efforts invested in this tertiary studies is over. Now is just to wait for ROI - Return On Investment. Currently struggle in a dilemma whether should I continue my professional studies to get myself qualified in ACCA.
No one should claim himself/herself as an accountant if he/she does not qualified from ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, CPA and other national bodies such as MIA etc. Only qualified accountant has the authority to sign the accounts of the company. To be an auditor or to be tax agent, professional qualification is essential. It's like a licence to practice accounting/audit/tax practice. Anyone can do accounts and tax computation but he/she has no authority to sign it. If your aunt/uncle claim themselves as accountant, ask them whether he member of which accounting body. Well back to my question, should I continue my ACCA? I'm dying to work now in audit firm to gain my experience. What's my call? If I work 2 years and take 1 year off to finish off my 5 papers to get qualified then what's next? Will I be going back to audit line? By that time do I still need this qualification? Wow this is so complicating. People and seniors who experienced in this adviced me not to work and study at the same time. You will be drained and squeezed. Oh well..I need DIRECTION!

I find this blog kinda interesting!Food..MORE FOOD.. http://www.isaactan.net guess what? He's my colleague! Thanks for the posts..Pls share more food and intro more places to MAKAN! XD
Love hurts, Love scars, Love wounds and mars
Any heart not tough or strong enough
To take a lot of pain, take a lot of pain
Love is like a cloud, it holds a lot of rain
Love hurts, Ooo-oo Love hurts

I'm young, I know, But even so
I know a thing or two - I learned from you
I really learned a lot, really learned a lot
Love is like a flame It burns you when it's hot
Love hurts, Ooo-oo Love hurts

Some fools think of happiness, blissfulness, togetherness
Some fools fool themselves, I guess
They're not foolin' me
I know it isn't true I know it isn't true
Love is just a lie made to make you blue
Love hurts, Ooo-oo Love hurts
I know it isn't true I know it isn't true
Love is just a lie made to make you blue
Love hurts, Ooo-oo Love hurts
Ooo-oo, Love hurts Ooo-oo

I know it won't be me
I know it won't be me
Love is just a failure and can't do anything about it
Love hurts, Ooo-oo Love hurts

Friend of Mine

I see my friend You need a friend To care for you
And be there for you Till you're on your feet again

To be your friend through thick and thin
To understand lend a helping hand
That's the least that I can do for you

Now anytime you've got a problem
I'll be there to help you solve 'em You know oh
When you've got a friend by your side
You're not alone And you know that
When you're feelin' brokenhearted
I'll be there to get you started again my friend
You know I care so I'll be there
Now until the end of time
Cause you're a friend Friend of mine

A friend in need, a friend indeed
I'll be the one you depend upon
You can always count on me

And win or lose I'll stick by you
I'll try my best put me to the test
And I'll prove the rest is true for you

Now anytime you've got a problem
I'll be there to help you solve 'em You know oh
When you've got a friend by your side
You're not alone And you know that
When you're feelin' brokenhearted
I'll be there to get you started again my friend
You know I care so I'll be there
Now until the end of time
Cause you're a friend Friend of mine

Now anytime you've got a problem
I'll be there to help you solve 'em You know oh
When you've got a friend by your side
You're not alone And you know that
When you're feelin' brokenhearted
I'll be there to get you started again my friend
You know I care so I'll be there
Now until the end of time
Cause you're a friend Friend of mine

Schneider Electric

This is the place where I've been working at for the past 3 months. Schneider Electric is the Global Specialist in Energy Management and it's Multinational Company. It offers variety of products and services segment from home to industry. Often people ask me you work in the elevatory company? I was like "huh"? My company does nothing related to elevator except electronic parts such as relays, switches etc.

What I did for the past 3 months? I helped out in quality and service team. Did RMA for the protection relays, RTE, RTA, RTR for the other products else than relays. On my first day, went to the quality archived room, it was a BIG MESS. Goods returned by customer are all here and there on the floor and just totally messed up. So my task is also to tidy them and put them into proper location and labeled them one by one. I'm catched up things very quyickly and get the job done as soon as possible. Today is my second last day in Schneider, I still got an analysis to be done by tomorrow before I leave the company.

Oh yah! Forget to say that my major is in Accounting and Finance. I should be in audit/tax firm instead of an engineering/services/operation field. Why is that so? I also don't know why. If you ask me whether I enjoy work here I would say not really but I do enjoy is to getting my work done (efficiency) is the word that I could decribe that I aimed for. Working here sometime can be boring because nothing MUCH to do as compare to other colleagues here. What's next? Maybe stay home or go vacation before I start search for work that related to my field.

Last but not least, I finally met this guy who is the Country President/Managing Director of Schneider Malaysia - Peter Cave. What a chance to met him face to face. This is my so called a wish to meet the BIG BOSS.
